Cocoa Village Memorial Day

Ken Rhoden’s first public appearance since announcing his candidacy for the Office of Public Defender in May 2011 was at the Cocoa Memorial Day Celebration at Riverfront Park.  There were several dignitaries in attendance including Senator Mike Haridopolis, Cocoa Mayor Michael C. Blake, BCC’s Associate Provost LeRoy Darby sang the National Anthem, and the guest speaker was Cpl. Robert Smith, USMC, a Cocoa High graduate.
