Moore Heritage Festival Attended by 2012 Public Defender Candidate

The 9th Annual Moore Heritage Festival of the Arts and Humanities
April 17-21, 2012

Ken Rhoden attended the festival in Mims on Saturday, April 21.  The crowd enjoyed the festival and all the activities including live entertainment, health fair, food & craft vendors, and tours of the Moore Family Home replica.  The Moore Heritage Festival is presented by The Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Cultural Complex, Inc. and was held at the Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Memorial Park (Freedom Avenue, Mims, FL).   Ken extends his thanks to everyone who stopped to say hello and offer their congratulations on his recent qualification by petition.

Moore’s lives and their unique contributions to the early civil rights movement; the preservation of African American culture and local heritage; and creation of a family-oriented atmosphere.
