Thank you to the 10,000 plus people who signed petitions for Ken over the past few months. It was hard work collecting signatures and the campaign could not have done it without the dedicated Vote Rhoden team spending many hours talking to voters, without the over 10,000 Brevard & Seminole County residents who signed petitions, and without the underlying support of the many groups and clubs that helped get petitions. Ken spent every weekend and almost every evening out talking with voters and collecting signatures – you may have seen him at any number of locations throughout Brevard and Seminole counties including the Melbourne Auditorium, Historic Downtown Sanford, the Veteran’s Day Parade, the Liberty Bell Museum, the Memorial Day Celebration, a patriotic Concert in the Park, Oviedo Founders Day, and many others. Thank you no matter where you signed your petition!
Ken was notified by Brevard County Supervisor of Elections, Lori Scott, that while he only needed 6,240 Ken had received over 7,000 validated signatures! So for now we can say that Ken Rhoden is the only candidate in the 2012 race for Public Defender of the 18th Judicial Circuit who qualified by petition and who does not have to pay the government to qualify for the ballot. Please share your congratulations with Ken by email (ken@kenrhoden.com), by phone (direct personal cell: 321-368-3151), on Facebook (www.facebook.com/kenrhoden), or in person at one the many events he will be attending in the next few months.
If you did not get to sign a petition you can still help the campaign. You can print an ENDORSEMENT form, fill it out, and send it back to Ken at the address on the form.
And please remember to Vote RHO
